a (superb) leaked design and promises the return of a flagship function

Several months before its official presentation, first images of the supposed design of the OnePlus 11 Pro are leaking on the web. We discover very successful lines and the return of a small “accessory” that will please all fans of the brand.

The season of leaks seems already launched for 2023. Today, it’s Steve Hemmerstoffer, alias OnLeaks on Twitter, which posted renders of the OnePlus 11 Pro. However, the phone should not be presented until next year.

A first design for the OnePlus 11 Pro

As always with this unofficial information, it should be taken with a pinch of salt. But OnLeaks is a sufficiently reliable source in the field to be interested in these images which present a rendering of what the OnePlus 11 Pro could look like.

As you can see, the Chinese brand could this time choose to “overflow” its camera block on the edge of the phone, as is the case with the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10T. If we are to believe its first images of the OnePlus 11 Pro, the manufacturer would abandon the square format of the camera block for a more rounded design. In our humble opinion, it is much more aesthetic.

You can see three camera modules as well as an LED flash and the mention of the photographic partner “Hasselblad”, a partnership that would be renewed for the occasion. The triple camera module suggests a configuration similar to those of the OnePlus 10 Pro, namely a wide-angle, an ultra-wide-angle and a telephoto lens. This obviously remains to be confirmed. OnePlus has a lot to do to catch up with the competition on this point.

The return of the button Alert Slider

The other interesting point revealed by these images is the supposed return of the famous button Alert Slider. For those who are not familiar with this button, it allows you to switch from one sound mode to another: silent, vibrate and ringtone. It’s been a hallmark feature of OnePlus phones for years, but the button was gone from the OnePlus 10T.

The rumor that theAlert Slider would be reserved for the most high-end versions of OnePlus smartphones thus seems to be confirmed. Indeed, the Chinese brand has a habit of releasing a model at the beginning of the year which generally brings the most powerful chip of the moment on Android as well as photo improvements. At the end of the year, a “T” version still updates the SoC and offers increased charging speed, but is not as good in photos and does not take advantage of the button Alert Slider.

The OnePlus 10 Pro was introduced in January 2022, so it wouldn’t be surprising if the OnePlus 11 Pro was made official in early 2023, with a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 inside. Until then, chances are more indiscretions will tell us more about the next one. flagship of the Chinese brand.
