CAF Champions League: The LSFP comes to the aid of Casa Sports

Reigning champion of Senegal, Casa Sports will represent the country in the CAF Champions League. Before the first qualifying round, the Senegalese Professional Football League (LSFP) came to the aid of the Ziguinchor club, with the aim of supporting it in validly representing the country of Teranga.

This September 11, 2022, Casa Sport will face JS Kabylie in the first qualifying round of the CAF Champions League. Before this important meeting, a delegation from the LSFP composed of President Djibril Wade, accompanied by Vice-Presidents Samsidine Diatta, Abdoulaye Guèye, Pape Djiby Diop and the communication officer, Mamanding Nicolas Sonko visited the Casamance club.

Aliou Badara Faty and his teammates have received financial assistance of one million CFA francs for this purpose. “A gesture well magnified by the officials of Casa Sports, who have promised to bravely defend the honor of Senegalese football in this competition”, reads a press release from the institution. As a reminder, Casa Sport receives the Algerians of JS Kabylie this September 11 at 5 p.m. GMT at the Lat Dior Stadium in Thiès.
