Two superstars of the 80s G-SHOCK and Super Mariothe most popular arcade game of all time, have teamed up to release a limited-edition watch that takes us straight back to the most beautiful hours of our childhood spent in front of the Nintendo console.
The G-SHOCK x Super Mario takes the DW5600SMB-4ER model reworked in the colors of the very popular platform game Super Mario by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka.
A true reminder of nostalgia, the watch is shown in a Mario red applied to the bezel and dial, complemented by a blue touch on the bottom of the dial that recalls scenes from the game universe as well as golden accents illustrating the precious coins. coins that must be collected throughout the game.
When you activate the backlight of the screen, the famous silhouette of the character so recognizable by his mustache, his overalls, his white gloves and his red cap marked with an M appears, accompanied by the shell of Koopa Troopa printed on the bottom of the screen. A latest nod to 8-bit video games from the 80s, all dial fonts are 8-bit, just like an 8-bit Mario is printed on the camo-patterned strap.
The G-SHOCK DW5600SMB-4ER x Super Mario will be delivered in a unique packaging, on which we find an illustration of the opening screen of the game and Mario’s signature phrase: “Here we go!”.
