While the end of the transfer window is now whistled, the backstage of the Parisian summer continues to spill the ink. Announced among the tracks studied by PSG to strengthen in the middle, Seko Fofana was among the names considered by the club of the capital to renew the midfield. In its weekly Téléfoot program, TF1 confirmed contacts this summer between PSG, RC Lens but also the former entourage of captain Lensois about the feasibility of a transfer.
After recruiting Vitinha, PSG was looking for another profile to come and densify its environment. The name of the Ivorian had been considered by the Parisian management. The requirements communicated by the Sang et Or, who demanded 40 million euros to let their protege slip away, however, convinced the PSG to turn to a less expensive track. A few weeks later, the capital club finally completed the arrival of Renato Sanches for less than half the price announced for the former midfielder from Udinese.
