October Player of the Month nominees

Throughout October, our team managed to keep a clean sheet in five games. Our defense therefore played a decisive role, which is reflected in the choice of players nominated for the title of player of the month.

Here are the three candidates submitted to your vote…

Nathan Ake

The Dutch defender was imperial, commenting on almost no mistakes.

It’s not hard to see why Pep Guardiola appreciates as much the one who finds his best form just before the World Cup.

Akek played five games in October, impressing each time, and he is hoping for his first individual award since signing for City.

Manuel Akanji

Another rock. All observers were impressed with Akanji’s debut in English football.

The Swiss is not for nothing in the defensive solidity of the Cityzens during the month of October, who did not concede in five of the seven games played.

Can he get his first Player of the Month award?

Despite its regularity, Ederson is not a regular for our monthly reward.

With so many creative players and goalscorers making headlines, the performances of the Brazilian bulwark sometimes go unnoticed.

But October was an exceptional month for “Eddy”.

Not only did he have five clean sheets, but he also helped open the scoring forErling Haaland against Brighton thanks to a magnificent pass from 60 meters.

His saves against Mo Salah, Leandro Trossard and Youri Tielemans were sublime and made the difference.
