AB InBev achieved broad-based volume growth of 3.7% in the third quarter, the best quarterly performance of the year in terms of volumes, the brewing group announced in a press release on Thursday.
“We continue to seeing strong consumer demand for our portfolio and resilience in the beer category, as we operate in a dynamic operating environment. Following our performance and the maintenance of our momentum, we are raising the low range of our EBITDA outlook (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) for FY22”, details Michel Doukeris, CEO of AB InBev.
Group revenue increased by 12.1%, with revenue per hl growth of 8%. EBITDA meanwhile increased by 6.5%, with “revenue growth partially offset by the anticipated unfavorable impact of currencies and commodity prices, and higher sales and marketing investments from our brands”, emphasizes the management.
