At the end of the second round of the playoffs played this weekend, we now know the posters for the last qualifying round of the playoffs of the CAN 2023 under 23. This will take place in March 2023 and will determine the 7 qualified for the final phase alongside Morocco, automatically qualified as host country.
Neighbors, Senegal and Mali will compete for their ticket during an exciting derby, the Nigeria-Guinea poster will also be worth the detour. After eliminating Algeria, DR Congo will tackle Ghana, while Gabon, after playing against Madagascar, will be looking for an exploit against Cameroon. Tunisia’s faller, the Congo will rub shoulders with South Africa. Finally, Egypt, holders of the title, will face Zambia, while Niger, which has just taken out Côte d’Ivoire, will do battle with Sudan, which eliminated Benin.
The final phase of the CAN U23 will take place in June 2023. The first three of the competition will validate their ticket for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
