Skull and Bones presents 30 minutes of scripted gameplay | Xbox One

Skull and Bones still seems to have a lot to prove and Ubisoft knows it. While the game has once again postponed at an unknown date, the teams are now working to present several elements of the game through various explanatory videos. Now for the scripted gameplay.

A focus on Skull & Bones quests

With “The DECK”, the Skull and Bones development team is setting up a first meeting with us to detail the scripted elements that players will be able to find in the game.

Make no mistake, there won’t really be a storyline in Skull and Bones and Ubisoft had already confirmed to us last August that the story would be a secondary element. But to keep the player in suspense and encourage him to discover the world around him, the game will include some scripted elements.

As shown in the video, some guidelines will be given in order to discover new outposts, new places on the map and finally progress in the quest for a recognized pirate. Overall, it will apparently be about getting from point A to point B to discover new elements and earn infamy points and rank up. The ultimate goal will always remain to be the biggest kingpin of the seas.

The following video introduces us to one of the game’s “investigations”, namely an investigation that focuses on a brother and a sister who are quarreling to recover the throne of a small kingdom. While the brother has hidden the crown, it will be a question of elucidating the mystery and finding the crown.

More information will be shared soon on Skull and Bones in the coming months, with new videos focused on customization, monetization of the game or its post-launch content.
