Smartphone Gigaset GX4, reinforced model with a 48 megapixel photo sensor

The Gigaset brand, specialist in residential and mobile telephony, has just announced the marketing of a new model, the Gigaset GX4. This has the particularity of being reinforced, thus being able to withstand falls and shocks. Equipped with a removable battery and a 48 megapixel photo sensor on the back, it is already available. Here are all the details.

The smartphones are technologically extremely advanced devices, but also very fragile. Indeed, a few badly placed blows can reduce its use to nothing, especially because of a screen that may not resist. The chassis is also in question and can deform after several shocks. Also, to overcome this, Gigaset offers the new GX4 smartphone.

This has the advantage of being protected by a protective frame. It has a double injection molded plastic shell and a case combining aluminium, magnesium and titanium. According to Gigaset, it meets military standard MIL-STD-810H. This means he can withstand drops of 1.2m without damage. This also implies that it is completely sealed against fresh water as well as dust and that it can operate in extreme temperatures from -15°C to +45°C. It can even be cleaned with water, alcohol or disinfectant, without risk.
