The legendary Real Madrid goalkeeper is in the throes of a bizarre tweeting frenzy.
After making headlines earlier this month with a bizarre tweet, legendary Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has further ignited Twitter with another viral post. This time it’s his testicles.
“I really feel like shooting myself 7 times in the testicles,” Casillas tweeted in Spanish. The tweet, posted at 2 a.m. in Spain, where the former goalkeeper resides, amassed more than 50 thousand likes within hours.
His friend Ibai Llanos could be behind this tweet.
The post created widespread confusion on social media. Until some users realized that the famous Twitch streamer Ibai Llanos had tweeted a very similar sentence a few hours before. Is it still a hacker? Or a nod to his friend Ibai?
An hour after that bizarre tweet, Casillas shared a cohesive and serious opinion on Real Madrid’s Champions League defeat, making it seem like the post was intentional from the former star goalkeeper.
On October 8, Casillas had tweeted a message very close to a “coming out”: “I hope you respect me: I am gay. Happy Sunday”. After the post eventually went viral and even received a response from former Barca defender Carles Puyol, Iker Casillas claimed his account was hacked and he asked for forgiveness from the LGBTQ+ community.
