The Confederation of African Football (CAF), on the proposal of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the CHAN-2022 African Nations Championship in Algeria (January 13 – February 4), has agreed to introduce a slight modification to the calendar matches of the tournament, indicates Aps.

Thus, the opening match of the competition between Algeria and Libya will be the only match of the day on January 13, 2023. Initially scheduled for 5:00 p.m. (Algerian time), the match will be played at 8:00 p.m. at the new Baraki stadium. . The second match of Pool A between Ethiopia and Mozambique, initially scheduled for January 13, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. (Algerian time), will take place the next day, January 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., specifies the same source.

As a reminder, the 18 countries participating in this competition have been split into five groups. The first three groups (A, B and C) consist of four teams, while the last two (D and E) have only three teams each.
