The Honor Magic is on the launch pad. The manufacturer’s next flagship is revealed through several visuals.
The Honor Magic 5 is due out at the end of February in China and probably in the spring in France based on the release of the Honor Magic 4 Pro.
Honor Magic 5 – A recognizable design
In the meantime, 3D renderings of the smartphone have been posted on the Twitter account @SPinfoJP. They show the Honor Magic 5 camera as well as the four colors that will be available.
These visuals confirm that the Magic 5 series respects the design of its predecessors. The photo module retains its circular shape. We see three photo sensors and one of them has the appearance of a periscopic zoom.
Moreover, the mention 100X is visible on the camera. The Honor Magic 5 will logically be able to perform X100 zoom. This matches previous statements by Honor’s CEO who called the Magic 5 a high-end smartphone with a cutting-edge camera.
Honor Magic 5 – Other technical characteristics
Several leaks have already revealed some of the technical characteristics of the smartphone. The Honor Magic 5 is expected with a 6.8-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
It will not lack power thanks to the latest Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The battery capacity is not yet known but it would be compatible with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Finally, the Honor Magic 5 is water and dust resistant and is IP68 certified.
