NZXT renews its series of cases H5 with two versions: H5 Elite and H5 Flow. If the first aims to position itself in the brand’s mid-range segment, the second is more entry-level. In addition, they will come to replace the current series H510 ! But what exactly changes?

H5 Elite and H5 Flow : the replacements of H510 !

The Flow version!

First, we will consider increasing dimensions. The dimensions therefore go from 210 (W) x 428 (D) x 460 (H) mm for the H510 to 227 (W) x 446 (D) x 464 (H) mm for the H5.

Another weight change, this new series comes with better support for the radiators of water cooling. Indeed, we now have the possibility of installing a 240 mm radiator at the top, against a 120 mm for the old series. On the other hand, at the front, we remain compatible with 280 mm.

On the other hand, with the rise of SSD In the format M.2, the American brand sacrifices storage locations. From now on, you will have to settle for a plate with two slots: 1x 2.5″ and a second 2.5″/3.5″.

Nonetheless, the box still retains its wiring assists. This consists of cleverly hidden Velcro strips on the back of the motherboard tray. Similarly, bent steel parts form ducts to facilitate cable guidance.

Finally, the version Elite put on a light RGB via two 140 mm fans placed on the front. Note that a lighting management module is present and that it is compatible with CAM. The version Flow will swap the tempered glass panel for a perforated panel and lose a fan as well as the side RGB. On the other hand, the two fans benefit from a small mill in 120 mm in the bottom of the case. It is positioned so as to water the graphics card directly.

For prices, it will take € 149.99 for the version Elite against €109.99 for the model Flow. Moreover, to find out more, our test of the Elite is available same here !
