The Oppo Find X6 Pro could ship a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor

There is still some time before the next high-end Oppo Find X6 Pro smartphones are officially presented, but the first rumors against it and the Find X6 are beginning to be heard. It is rumored that the Pro version would have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset while the Find X6 would have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

The latest series of high-end smartphones Oppo Find X5 Pro and Find X5 was presented last February and we expect their respective successors to be made official around the same time next year, close to or even during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Rumors about them are already circulating, especially on the Chinese social network Weibo.

Indeed, it is rumored that the flagship product, flagship of the brand would have the fastest chip of the moment for mobiles under Android, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 whose official presentation we expect in mid-November. Several mobiles should benefit from it, including the OnePlus 11 Pro but also the flagship models from Xiaomi or realme. In addition, it is also rumored that Oppo’s Find X6 Pro could have a 1-inch photo sensor as its main module. It would also be logical for image processing to still be entrusted to the dedicated MariSilicon chip inaugurated on the previous generation with, again, a partnership with Hasselblad for filters, or even more.

Which chip for the Oppo Find X6?

The smart phone Oppo Find X6 could, meanwhile, embark the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor that we currently find on several very high-end smartphones. Recall that the Find X5 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset from the previous generation to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 installed in one of the versions of the Find X5 Pro, another configuration based on the presence of a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip, in some markets. However, it is not impossible thatOppo finally turns to MediaTek for its Find X6 for all future markets. It is also said that the Oppo Find X6 would have a screen with 1220 pixels horizontally against 1080 pixels on the screen of the current Find X5.
