Before any release on the market, electronic devices must pass certifications that can remain more or less discreet. The next Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has just appeared in the lists of the TENAA organization confirming several technical characteristics.

After passing under the certification tools of the FCC organization, it is now the turn of TENAA to examine one of the next flagship smartphones of the South Korean brand, just before a marketing. The announcement is expected for the first weeks of January 2023. Several leaks have recently concerned Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra and some are confirmed in the light of the information published by TENAA on the web and of which here are all the details.

Some confirmed technical details for the Galaxy S23 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone measures 163.4×78.1mm for a 8.9 mm profile and a weight of 233 grams. These are the same dimensions as its predecessor, the Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, it is 4 grams heavier. There is a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a definition of 1440×3088 pixels. The frequencies of the different processor cores refer to the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It would be the only Soc powered the Galaxy S23 Ultra unlike its predecessor which was also offered with a Samsung Exynos processor. Graphics should be overclocked, which means that Samsung and Qualcomm have worked together to deliver a specific version of the chipset, improved. There will be 8 or 12 GB of RAM and an 256 and 512 GB storage capacity. A version with 1 TB will also be offered.


What connectivity and what sensors on his back?

Contrary to rumor, there is no trace of one possibility of satellite communication. Details regarding the photo sensors are not listed in the lists published by TENAA. There is supposed to be a 200 megapixel main sensor as well as two telephoto lenses, one of which could offer a 3x optical zoom and the other 10x. Mobile might be able to film with 8K Ultra HD definition at 30 frames per secondthere too, thanks to an optimization of the chipset compared to other mobiles which will use it, but in a “standard” version which is already not so bad.
The official presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series of smartphones is expected for the first week of February according to a South Korean report that quotes a leader “close to the matter”.
