Toyota has unveiled a first image vaguely showing a new electric car. This will be part of the bZ range, which includes two models.
After several months of procrastination, Toyota finally seems to have decided to speed up the electric car. The Japanese manufacturer also announced this week a review of its strategy around ‘zero emissions’.
In parallel, the firm also presented the bZ3, an electric sedan destined for China. Toyota is wasting no time, as the brand is showing us a preview of a new electric vehicle today.
Like the electric sedan, this new model appears to sport a tailgate at the rear. On the other hand, it seems taller than the bZ3, while being more fluid than the bZ4 electric SUV. It could thus be a coupe SUV, but we don’t know more about it at the moment.
This new model may only arrive in China, since Toyota is working intensively with BYD. This concept, on the other hand, seems too imposing. to be the future electric C-HR.
It is therefore difficult to say precisely what this new electric vehicle will be, or what its characteristics will be. It seems likely that its full presentation will not come until 2023.
